Very true. I respect those who volunteer to serve, but lose that respect when they continually throw out the "I am a vet, I should be able to act how I want" card. This country needs mutual respect for each other.

Well it's a good job everyone else was fighting to destroy fascism then. It may be a bit late now John, but you didn't actually need to go to war for the right to type in all caps. They let you do it for free with every keyboard. I think the recruiting sergeant must have seen you coming.

That's not true though John is it. You respect Mark so you type in lower case. How is it then not disrespecting everyone else when you type in upper case, even when replying to people who haven't possibly earned your disrespect? It IS disrespect. It doesn't matter what you type. It's disrespectful to other users. Some may have smaller screens and have to scroll back and forward to read what you say, and upper case is HARDER to read. You've been told this on numerous occasions so can't say you are ignorant of the fact. So it IS outright disrespectful. I am not alone in thinking so.

Here's a clue John. Start off by respecting everyone as your default position and use caps whenever you decide you don't respect a particular individual. How does that sound?

" How To Be A Better Person".... That's the title of the OP. You don't even need to do anything to comply. You just need to stop going out of your way to be disrespectful to people you haven't even engaged with yet.

Some people collect cues...I collect memories of having played with, being taught by and hopefully becoming friends with some of the great players/teachers.

WHEN DO YOU GET OUT? I WOULD LOVE TO MEET YOU AS YOU SEEM NOT TO UNDERSTAND THE BASIS OF OUR COUNTRY; LIKE HILLARY GETS TO ANNOY ME WHEN SHE WAKES UP; I HAVE DONE HER NO HARM. WISH I COULD ASK HER OR HER "HUSBAND" IF THE FIRST THING "THEY" WILL DO IF GOD FORBID "THEY" WIN, IS SECURE THE LIVING QUARTERS IN THE WHITE HOUSE SO SOMEONE CAN'T SNEAK UP THERE AND LEAVE THE DOCUMENTS NO ONE COULD FIND ON A TABLE AS HAPPENED TO WILLIE AND SILLIE. NUT, FOR ABOUT THE 20TH TIME. I DO NOT DISRESPECT ANYONE UNLESS THEY EARN IT. AZ PROVIDES A VEHICLE TO USE CAPS WHICH I HAVE DONE FOR YEARS NOT TO DISRESPECT ANYONE BUT IT IS MY CHOICE. I KNOW MARK AND WANT THE CAP FREAKS TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF GUY HE IS SO PROSTITUTED MYSELF TO TELL FOLKS WHAT A GREAT GUY MARK IS. I GAVE IN FOR ONE TIME TO PRAISE MARK AND HAVE THE CAP POLICE READ MY THOUGHTS AS I DID FOR THE WPBA. I AM NOT GOING OUT OF MY WAY; I HAVE TYPED THIS WAY SINCE 1996 WHEN I MOVED TO EUROPE. I couldn't agree more! I thought about posting something like this even as early as last night because it bothered me so.

I have seen many threads hi-jacked and not many bothered me, but this thread was about a great man who has helped a lot of people and I was sorely disappointed to see it derailed and not stay on topic. I am almost afraid to reply like this because it keeps it off topic, but I'll end it about Mark.

I have read many of his articles and they have helped me immensely. I was excited at Peoria years ago at a WPBA event when I was able to tell him in person how much he has helped me. It's even more heart warming to hear what a great guy he is. He sounds like a positive person for our sport.
