Get some ball polish intended for pool balls. I like Aramith and ChemPak.
I saw a video on YouTube and they said the Chem-Pak has both a fine abrasive and hard carnuba wax in it. I was under the impression that you shouldn't use either of those things on a regular basis. Have I misunderstood?
BTW I also found a video of a pretty spiffy looking manual ball cleaner that look really easy to make. It's like a Diamond cleaner, only you have to spin the platter with a hand crank.

It depends on the glass cleaner. Don't use any cleaner with chlorine or ammonia. But I think plain warm water is going to do as well as glass cleaner.I'll try the glass cleaner. Hope it doesn't hurt the balls.
