How to make 3c cool?

i like it. will watch.

when you write banks do you mean kick shots? in billiards it's usually meant that way, i.e. a rail first shot is a bank shot. they get double points for that?
Any rail first shot is double, for example a ticky. This has been the Korean way for a long time. This is the culture Sang Lee came from and why he was the best at all kinds of rail first shots. That guy could shoot umbrella shots like nobody's business. Even if he didn't get double points once he came to the US,

Koreans do many things will, and they have many top 3C player.

They also pickle cabbage well, call it Kimche. Very good stuff the more garlic and hot pepper taste better I like.😳

Anyone use a 3c cue for 9 ball? Or even the other way around?
Yep....I have a 3c shaft I sometimes use for pool.

It is an inch shorter than a pool shaft though, which does take a bit of time to get used to.

Pool shaft for 3c doesn't rely work, imo. .. especially LD.

I said this elsewhere in AZbilliards yet it went over everyone's heads.
I have a 3C game that allows beginners to play against well seasoned players and have a fair chance of winning.
Ya, it's a handicap system, IF needed.
I've been playing it off & on by myself (right vs left hand for over 5 decades now). Players around here are still stuck on making balls disappear every game.
It didn't go over anybody head... You didn't give us any information about the game.

Sometimes, my non pool playing friends will let me drag them to a three cushion table and I play three rails, while they play straight caroms.

Most of my friends are somewhat coordinated and familiar with pool, and they usually beat me to 20 points, but I do have one friend who is pool retarded and it's a pretty good fight between the two of us!

I'm sure you and I agree: three cushion might be the best game on a billiard table out there.

Great input.

Korea is a peninsula and there are many unknown things under the water. I like the river monsters show but have trouble sleeping after it for some reason and it always comes on late.

Only when they're trying to rob and not just hustle you.
I'm sure somebody recalls with greater accuracy than i, but there used to be masked players who went around the country playing challenge matches as promotion for some billiard company

3C is a great and I think very elegant game, more so than pocket billiards IMHO. Not that I play it much at all, but I really enjoy watching it, I wish I understood it better, some of the shots just look like randomness with me and I can never figure out what is "good" vs "bad" position in the game.

I do have a high run of 5 though which I brag about all the time LOL

3C, 14.1 and snooker I think are the core games of cuesports. 8 ball, 8 ball, etc.. are great, but 14.1 and 3C embody the core essence of the game of striking round objects, one to move them around the table and the other to pocket them. Snooker is great in it's own way as a specialized version of pool that demands more in some areas and is different enough to be a separate thing to master.

IMHO the amount of work/training to reach a 10-12 high run , when your high run is 5 , is hard to understand/believe, for the pool-only players...
may be like from 20-25 to 70 at straight pool , something like that. a bit of work/training/table time is needed...

Position is just a leave where the upcoming shot is a natural. It usually involves leaving one ob in a corner and often, the cb close to an ob (better 1st ball strike accuracy.

This, from a low-mid level rail beater.

3C... core essence of the game of striking round objects...to move them around the table without unplanned collisions

Don't forget that part...kissed out.
