Howdy Vagabond. No problem. When you were talking about gambling with Jungledude in the past, I just assumed you would gamble. I know for a fact Jungledude will.

If I say I like player X to beat player Y, there is a real good chance you can get some action.

Yes,In the past I did want to have action in one hole, with Humphrey and asked for weight/spot but he did not accept my offer. He is a rich man and could efford to help this `starving marvin` to buy his meal.U are truely a Southern Gentleman.

See Gremlin, your post is why most people regard you as a huge(not tall) moron. You must have failed reading comprehension in High School. I never said Karen or Santos can't play. I never challenged either one of them. I reported a simple fact. Santos beat Karen out of $6000. Period.

But since your offering to throw away some more of your $, why dont you back Santos and set up a match. Maybe Santos and I will get our own deal going and cut up the stakehorse(you).

edging us on to gamble, but appearently we misunderstood, and I'm very sorry. I'm not one of those guys who talks about gambling with this keyboard, but am a legitimate gambler and have been for 44 years.

Back in '98, I was there when Santos beat Jennifer Chen giving her the 6, 7, the last two, and the breaks. He beat her at Hard Times in Bellflower and soon afterwards at Players in Van Nuys. He ended up winning about 10k after both matches. Funny thing is, Jennifer shot great, every chance she had to make an out, she usually got out. She rarely got a chance to shoot, however. Her break was weak, and her safeties just didn't hold up when Santos was kicking balls in and kicking safe everywhere. He'd play a simple safety on her and she'd fall apart, selling out most of the time. It was great to watch, I thought he was giving her the nuts, but he smoked her.
 
I think Alison Fisher could probably beat some of the top male players at pool but I very much doubt she could beat the low-ranking male pros at snooker - let alone Ronnie O'Sullivan, Stephen Hendry, Jimmy White etc.

She does have a superb temperament for both games though and a smooth cue action she copied from Steve Davis in the 1980s.

In snooker, most pros (apart from Jimmy who won a ranking tournament last season) are passed it by the time they get into their late 30s. In pool, they seem to be able to go on and on. So she'll probably be at the top of the game for another ten years.
