We put 10 Diamond 9 foot ProAms in this way, because there was no other way of getting the tables into the building upstairs. And let me tell you, it was HOT that day...LOL This is Tom Karabatsos Restaurant and upstairs pool room in Elgin, IL.

table

I beleive the Hoist came from Metro Lift. A friend of mine told me a while back that he had to deliver one in Elgin. He explained that it was for pool tables. I did not know it was Diamonds. I have been there before. I will have to go check then out. Hey Glen, you could have told me you were going to be around. Also we are getting some smart tables in Rockford, IL. Are you delivering them. If you are they are upstairs of a bowling alley.
Have fun.
Thanks, Ron

Ron, I don't know where the crane came from, but I do know it took a 70 foot boom to reach up over the building in order to swing the tables around the back side of the building to land them on the upper deck...LOL what a job!

I don't think it's going to be me delivering the 7fts you're talking about, because I should be leaving the Diamond factory on Thursday heading to Washington state carrying a full truck/trailer load of tables for delivery up there as well as everywhere else. Have to be in Bremerton, WA by Monday to unload:eek:

Occasionally, there are those times when "awww s@#t" just don't quite cover it.....

But look on the bright side....it wasn't during your trip to Minnesota!

Glen, that job was probably easier than the three cushion table you set up in the basement. That's what you call "buying your lunch with your sense".

You're right, the billiards table was a lot harder than the 14 tables at Toms place...LOL It took 13 hours just to get the 3 slates in and down the stairs when all was said and done...LOL

I know Tom has changed his operation around. What's goin on?
Well, on the 10 9ft ProAms it was to hard to collect table time for what ever reason...LOL So, I talked Tom into switching the ProAms for the Smart Tables, switching the rental time to the tables instead. Now he's getting 12 per hour at the tables, instead of checking out the balls on a rental system, and guaranteed to get the money in the tables now...LOL Now, you have to pay BEFORE you play, and pay as you play!
