How Would You Play This Layout?

Im looking at holding the cue ball, and banking the 2 ball wide and hard(for a safe). As long as I don't hit the 7, the right speed could give me 3 possible blocking balls. I'd use some left spin to get some right spin on the 2.

The better question would be. How would you play this next shot? Not exactly an easy situation with lots of sell out safeties available.

I think I'd try a half-ball hit on the right side of the 2, try to leave cue behind the seven. Tough spot to be in here.

Could also half-ball hit the left side of the 2 and Z-bank it down table, hopefully leaving the 7-9 wall as a blocker.

I'd shoot the z-bank, focusing on controlling the 2 (as opposed to the CB). To get safe going off the right side of the 2, you have to hit it very softly, and thus you won't leave distance and if you do leave an open look at the 2, it's going to be near the pocket. With the z-bank, I'm probably not going to hook him, but he'll be in a tough spot anyway.

I'd like to see the stroke you use to avoid a double hit/push on the 2-9. Going to be a questionable leave 2 after the 2, 5 billiard.

Feather the two behind the 9, stick the cue ball behind the 4.

I'd like to see the stroke that you use to put the CB behind a ball that isn't on the table. My apologies if I'm missing it but I'm pretty sure it's not there. So critical of anothers valid opinion...

Doesn't seem to be a shot on the 2 ball. I would thin the 2 ball, pushing the 2 behind the 9 and trying to get the cue ball on the rail passed the 6 ball. Looks like a pretty good safe to me...

Pink ball straight up from the green 6. The only thing down is the 1 ball. The picture is labeled wrong -- two 6 balls.

I'd play safe, thin the two softly with inside english.

I prefer this route rather than punting up table because the 5 makes the pocket big. If you don't hide the cueball, you give up a shot. Worst case on my shot, you leave a bank and it's not a hanger.

Use low right at about 45 degrees cue level, aim 2 above 1st diamond, bank to opposite corner. The throw should get you there.
