you have white cue ball

My first attempt would be short rail to the long using the corner, top left corner of the image
maxium right english
4rails into red then yellow

You could do 95% full ball on the yellow with around 90% follow (top spin).
That usually does not leave you with a nice layout afterwards, though, and there's danger of a double kiss because everythings close to the rail.

i am confused
sorry
if you hit 95% yellow doesnt that knock it into the red??
also how do you get 3 or more rails with follow??

How about bottom rail with left english then hit half of the yellow on the left side. Several ways to score.

Sorry - I assumed we were talking only about Carom, not 3 band.
Then discard my reply, please!

PS: But you can try, hit the yellow fuller than you'd think with follow, white will hit the red.

thanks to you guys who responded..........

Thanks bbb. Don't get discouraged. AZ Billiards has given us a platform to share our beautiful sport. Whether we take advantage of this is on us. Some complain because of how lame this forum is. We have found the enemy and it is we.

Regarding your shot selection: It's easy. I just agree with Fast Eddie's solutions. I remember him doing monster stroke shots during the 2008 USBA Nationals in Louisville,Ky. He was showing Pedro, Miguel, Hugo, and my favorite player Mercedes some shots. He was just showing off. :)

The Champions! ( in our own mind) Oopps! The background looks like Pendennis Club. My bad.

Mr Caudron is capable of making just about any shot he wants. However, for the cash, I think that he would play this shot as pictured below. The cue ball is struck with middle right english aimed at the right side of the yellow ball. You can see him making this shot very consistently in just about any tournament match he plays.
