I get a pm from someone who I dont know and this is how it starts: Hi Chris Williams! Ok, assuming that's your name. He is wanting me to spread the word on a tourney he is promoting. Am I reading into this or is this a shitty way to start a pm?

The person who wrote that apparently knows "A" Chris Williams and didn't tactfully ask if you were the same one.
