He's our new World 10 ball Champion. He beat Fu Jianbo in the finals 11-8. Good shooting Huidji.

Maybe we'll get to see him here in the States soon.

He is here lots. If it weren't for the World 10 Ball, he'd be in Vegas now.

For sure he will be here for the World straight pool. He got 3rd last year.

Great win for a super cool guy! This is a big break through for him. CONGRATULATIONS Huidji!

I've heard of him before but never really saw him play until the derby this year and I was impressed. This guy has a lot of game. A real solid player.

Huidji's victory would probably not have been possible without the help of Dutch National Coach, Johan Ruisink. The big man has three World Class players under his wing again.

Niels Feijen, Alex Lely and Rico Diks were his principal players but with Rico pursuing a musical career path the pool playing trio were reduced to a duo.

Huidji was always lurking on the edge but thanks to the big man's influence he is now a fully fledged member.

Johan is also the European Mosconi Cup captain and now Huidji could have a chance of joining him in Las Vegas this year.
SEEing is believing.

Close... Alex Lely pursuing a family and political career (and commentary @ Eurosport) and you forgot about Nick van den Berg also a well know Dutch player (top on the MosconiCup ranking).

Huidji progressed well with Johan (best european coach) and top players like Niels and Nick. Next to some funding from our goverement and his talent, training and hard work!! Cant become champion without working hard!!

Quite right Berry, a slip of the pen/keyboard. I did mean Nick and not Alex.
The way that Mr VDB is performing at the moment must make him the top player not just in the Netherlands but in the World. He seems rarely out of the top four in the tournaments that he enters.

Johan .....best European Coach

Bullshit!

Berry I am surprised at you.

He is the best in the World (bar none)

so does that mean a european won, or an asian won the World 10 Ball Championship?
or would it rather be...an asian living in europe?

If he were to make it to the Mosconi Cup, does that make him the first asian to play on the european side?

...didnt bustamante live in germany for a while? could he still qualify for the Mosconi cup if hes still living there?
