I think some people have lost their minds.
It's entertainment; not an historical documentary.
The producers are looking for exactly one result - ratings because that's what gets you more shows to tape and that's how the bills get paid.
In trying to achieve ratings, the producers have every right to bend, twist, embellish and edit however they see fit. It's their baby.
I watched another Tru TV show a few times because it was entertaining, not even close to real. That show was Operation Repo.
Crazy shit happening at *every* repo job like one where The big, bald white guy, Matt, and Froy go to repo a car at the deadbeat's work and she just happens to be a very petite Asian karate instructor who comes out angry as a hornet and starts throwing Matt to the ground....
Or when they go to repo a car and a couple are naked having sex in the car when they roll up....
Or when they went to a bowling alley where the deadbeat was supposed to be and he finds out they're there and he comes running out like he was about to roll a strike with the bowling ball still in his hand and he ends up throwing it through their window...
Or the time they went to do a repo at the Crips or was it the Bloods compound in the middle of nowhere and end up in a gun fight...
Bottom line, these shows are for entertainment, nothing more.
The way I see it, what The Hustlers show might be doing pales in comparison to most of these other True TV shows.
Maybe they should step it up.
