Hybrid Shafts.

Any idea what the shaft insert is made of, phenolic? I think I read somewhere it was something soft that may be difficult to replace but I may be misremembering.
I'm honestly not sure. Whatever Cuetec uses. I'm considering sending one of mine to DZ to have the ferrule/insert etc, replaced with Tomahawk. Unfortunately, I'm one of those "if it ain't broke don't fix it" guys.
🤷‍♂️

So if I understand their marketing language, the fiberglass bonded shaft is strong enuf to allow for 10" of air under the ferrule.
I guess foam would either increase price, weight, deflection, and/or all 3.
I'm sure they researched this thoroughly B4 settling on air.
I respect the guys at Cuetec.
They make quality billiard products. But " Air Light front end" sure is a fancy way of saying hollow. Does sound better tho.😉
