Hypothetical question

You are at the pool hall and you have caught a gear, you are in rare form, you are in stroke whatever that is for you and.....

a) You are a little hungry but you don't absolutely have to eat, or

b) You kind of need to use the John but you can hold it, or

c) You think you are having a mild heart attack but it probably isn't fatal

Do you take a break and satisfy your needs or do you keep playing because you are afraid you will throw your game off if you leave the table?

Actually, unless I'm in situation (a), I leave the table. If I got in stroke that one time, you can be sure I'll be back in stroke later.

Might not be the same night, but I'll be back in stroke sometime...

B. Keep Playing ( I allways wear depends when I gamble just for this reason )

my ego would make me want to attend to whatever the need was if it was great enough. by that i mean it would annoy me to think if i took a quick pee break then it'd mess up my game - i couldn't stand to allow that - that's basically saying i don't have full control over my game.

It get's worse. I've had patients that were brought in to the hospital for dehydration, swelling in the legs, blood sugar gone crazy and etc. from playing slots for days
