I had a great time hanging out with everyone at Chalkies today, thanks guys. I took a boatload of pictures and should have a gallery link up soon. If any of you who were there want any of the pictures let me know and I'll get them to you.

Thanks for the great pics. :)

How 'bout some names for the faces? I only recognize one, the most obvious, Jeanette Lee! :p

sitting left to Jeanette is a kind roadie/tournament player. He is actually a pro speed player but tries to sneak in amateur tournaments.I am withholding the name.

If he is a pro caliber player and sneaks around in amateur tournaments, then why not give up his name?

Jeff "I never met a YMCA tournament I couldn't snap off" Beckley

Nice photos, thanks. I kinda wondered what that motley crew looked like. Yep a whole bunch of roadies. Even had to name their get together after a road -- is that a blatant challenge or what:cool:

OK, I need someone to tell me what exactly this comment is saying....
possibly who it's coming from... Thanks, cause I don't get it..... Jeff

To the gang from Columbus, it was nice to meet all of you. Your all a class act. Hopefully we can get more of our league members involved next time. Hope to see you guys again! Jeff

Just look for the guy snapping off the tourney with a black eye and a bruised ego. :p

You took a shot at Jeff before and I asked if you were mad because he snapped you off. Looks like I was right. I guess if you dislike everyone that plays stronger than you, you probably are pissed at a lot of people (and most everyone in the Phillipines)

This kills me.

This is what leagues have done to pool. "That guy plays too good. Ban him" Stupidity. Guess what? You don't like losing? GET BETTER!

Oh I got a pretty good feeling Mr. u12armresl would have no problem if he happened to be the stongest player in the field snapping off a tournament.

Whatever.

Why don't you you just go hate on somebody in an arm wrestling forum. I'm sure some one is better at that than you.

Now that the negativity fairie has been responded to, I would just like say how cool it was for Willebetmore and mthornto to put this together. I think we need more stuff like this. Thanks go to the above mentioned gentlemen and to everyone who showed up to play.

Jeff is a good player but I don't feel that he is a PRO speed player, His game is great but his break hurts him a little.... Just my thought's....

Thanks again to Don for hosting the Columbus vs Indy straight pool challenge. The match was one sided, but I can speak for the entire Columbus contingent in saying that it was one of the most fun pool weekends ever. We can't wait to do it again.

Special thanks goes out to Jeanette and Jeff. Neither of them had anything to gain by playing bangers from out of state. They did this for the love of the game and I am very grateful. Both were professional, friendly, and deadly at the table - everything you want to see from a pro player.

See you found us. I'm not sure if he was just joking with you or what. Apparently some of the others thought he was taking a jab at you. That happens on here. I just ignore em when they take a shot. I don't play straight pool, but I wish I could have come down. I'm sure someone would explain the rules as we went. Sam

Hey Jeff ???

If you is such a roadie when you coming to North Carolina??? still got plenty of room here!!

Nice job with the pics, and anyone that says Jeff Beckley is waiting to snap off a YMCA tourney, is dreaming... he's still matching up at the boys club!! Just ask those that habe the nerve to show up at the Windy City, where Jeff is a regular competitor! And we are proud to have him show up each year!!

PS tell Jeanteet hi!

Joe

Great pics!

I'm curious who won the challenge, and what the high runs were. One among many, I'm a big fan of Jeanette and respect her profficiency at multiple games (14.1, 9-ball, some 3C) and her desire to win.

I still say they are the best husband and wife team around.

Big fan of George Breedlove. I was in attendance when he finished runner up for an IPT qualifier in MA.

Classy guy.

It was my way of acknowledging how good he plays pool and if some one wants to interpret it as a Jab at that player in question there is nothing I could do about it.It was not an attempt to impune his charecter.he is good man.He does play PRO speed.

As expected, the Indy team dominated. They only lost one match. I believe the high run was about 68 by Jeff.
