Well, I just paid my $1,000 entry fee for the 2015 US Open 9 Ball Championship. I had planned to go to Virginia Beach to watch so I figured I might as well play since it is the 40th anniversary of the tournament and I ain't getting any younger.
Wish me luck!!!
Thanks

That's terrific. Good for you!
Many of us would love to do the same.
Shoot well, and have a great time.
We look forward to a trip report.
....maybe one beer to calm the nerves..
Wedge, your package should arrive soon. Will mail out your patch, chalk and cash in same box. Thanks again.
Good Luck, RJ
Please introduce yourselves if you see me at the Open. Would enjoy meeting other AZ members. I will be wearing a black and red Baltimore City Cues shirt supplied by owner Jay Wilkinson, my Magic Chalk sponsor patch supplied by RJ and a AZ Billiards Gold Member patch from Mike and Jerry (Yes they gave me the okay to wear it when I play!).
See you there
Frank (AKA Wedge)
Thanks for all the positive feedback. I got a PM today and another AZ Member who does not want to be named is sending me $50 to help with my expenses.
You hear a lot of negative stuff on AZ but there are many, many good, knowledgeable sharing people on the forums.
Thanks everyone
Frank
Go take 'em off, Frank!... and like others have said, relish your time at the Open!
