I know and like Shorty. I just think now and then he has a short, no pun intended, fuse.

Don...you can pick your nose and you can pick your friends. However, sometimes those friends end up being just like what came outta the ol' schnoz...snotty little boogers! Better luck pickin' next time.... :p

(Btw...now all because of you, I'm checking out every hand that I see on a women. Why didn't I ever think of that?) ROTFLMAO

This thread is totally unbelivable!
I envy those who have so much time and energy! It reminds me of my late grand mom who would go and spend hours bargaining over a few dollars at the market--she would try everything from insult to plead to threat to throwing a fit. It was unbelivable!
I used to tell her not to waste her time because a few hours was worth more than $5. She would tell me it was about respect and it was about winning the agrument.
After a while, no one in the market wanted to deal with her because of the extreme agony they knew they had to go through. She wanted respect but she was getting the exact opposite.

May we all get along... ;)

It reminds me of the time one of my employees droped a $2.00 wrench under an AC unit and spent 5 hours trying to get it out at $15.00 an hour. Go figure man.

You obviously have never dealt with FOD on an aircraft. I have seen a 50 cent wing nut cause over 100k in damage to an aircraft jet engine. It isn't pretty...then you would care about that $2 wrench.

The wrench droped under it Shorty, not in it. You want a piece of me Shorty? You want to start some sh!t with me my man? Why I outa, I don't know, I outa do something. You looking at me boy? You got a beef son?
I ate food on a plane before little guy. Taste like sh!t buddy. I'll kick you right thru the goal post of life kid.
As Always, Love, Purdman ;)
The only time I will ever care about a $2.00 wrench is when I need one. :p
I heard that a WRENCH was a retirement home for Jewish cowboys.
:o Irvin, Irvin, Irvin, ride on!!!!! 142nd fastest cowboy in the west. Spent all his time looking for 143.

Yeah...FOD walks on a flight line are loads of fun when it is 100+ degrees outside in the hot florida sun.

Been there...done that.

I hate to hear anyone say anything bad about Scott and the gang. I sent my Libra cue to them to be refinished and I got it back in 9 days from the day I shipped it and the results were excellent. It looked great for about a month until my buddy slapped slapped the butt of the cue on the corner of my table and knocked a chunk out of the finish. It will probably go back to Scott. Last time my friends play with my keepers. Glad you came to an amicable conclusion to your problem.

Mike Erwin of Mississippi does great work, whether it be repair or refinishing. The name of his business is: Master Cue Repair. Mike also makes and sells his own cues, all handmade. Mike has been doing this for as long as I've know him, back in the seventies. He did most of all repair work, and extensive work, done at Meucci Originals for over 20 years, when a Meucci cue was a quality cue, when they operated out of a cement block building. I've been using Mike for years and never had a problem that he couldn't fix, this is just my opinion, try him yourself and you will be the judge of his work.
Mike does great work; he made a few shafts for me over the years. I real like the fact that he will make a shaft with the taper you like not the one he likes. It's nice to have a shaft you like and be able to have it copied. All repair men make mistakes the good ones fix them.

Another really good repair man in Mississippi is Joe Ezell in Hattiesburg, he made me a matched set of Cues that look and play great.

Don't think for one minute that if Shorty sent something out to him or even Barry Szamboti it would be any different. Somehow...some way he's always going to cry, whine, piss, and moan about how he got screwed on the repair job...the deal...the purchase going sour...or whatever.
He's not totally happy unless he's miserable and dragging everyone else into his screwed up world of victimization. What a pain in the ass big mouth loser.
That's about all he ever contributes to this forum anyway.

And then his signature line is..."Why can't we all just get along" ROTFLMAO
Hey...it starts with YOU Shorty!!
He should have sent the cue back to the guy on ebay.I am sure he knew all about the missing veener piece before he sent the cue to Sherbine. If you want to spend 200 plus and up send it to a cuemaker and let me tell you,I have and thats why I send All my work to scott.Sounds like just another cheapo trying to pass off something he got stuck with from someone else and now blaming the last guy to hold it.I am sure scott gave him the option of sending it back to him to fix his complaints but honestly he knew it was the best anyone could have done with that cue!!
