I too think Burton Spain forearm

But the pin looks like something you love Fatboy.
Thanks Laz too. I will post more pictures soon.

the bumper looks like a bushka

the inside of the joint looks like a Gus bevel

its a mish mash of gus and bushka parts with a spain forearm,

i just am sure of one thing its not a low priced cue, and I bet it plays real nice too, its my favorite kind of old school cue for sure,

Hay good budy

Mr Dean,
I have to say Verl Horn. Everything including the inside of the cue under the weight bolt screams Bushka.
Your friend,
Nick :)

Has some similar characteristics to a Verl Horn Cue I own, (pin looks different) http://forums.azbilliards.com/album.php?albumid=536
I was told that Verl used both Burton Spain and Szamboti blanks. Im no expert by any means. One very wise seasoned collector once told me that Verl Horn used Ivory in his ring work were as George mostly used a white substance that was not, he reffered it as a "cheese cloth like substance". Also Mr. Balabushka tended to use straight grain maple and rarely did he ever use figured or birdseye maple. Whatever it is its an awesome looking cue. I cant wait to find out what it is :)
