If you are going to charge folks to watch your feed, please for the love of god make sure it works....

Accu-stats is sucking today.....

ya everyone should get a little refund mine was constantly going off! however we need to buy to put money in this wonderful sport. you dont pay you dont contribute like any thing else. seams like everybody wants something but nobody wants to pay! much like congress.:(

some month ago i tried to explain to an avid snooker fan (snooker on tv is more or less available everywhere) that you had to pay 265$ to watch the 2013 US open 9-ball tournament. wasnt easy.

"no, it's not live. re-run. recorded on DVD."
"yes, they still use DVD:s."
"no, i'm not kidding, 265 dollars plus shipping fee."
etc

he didn't bother ofc but if he had indeed entered the 1990s-style accustats homepage he probably would have had a seizure..

funny how it is, but thats how it is. myself, if i watch pool at all nowadays, i watch some free videos on american youtube channels or chinese tournaments. the latter are often better.

^i watch those chinese videos too. they are free and players are either superstars or those young-and-talented ones. the chinese women players are good too.

All PPV is not created equal despite what many "producers" would have you believe.

if anyone wants to watch free matches, subscribe to these youtube channels:

http://www.youtube.com/channel/UClreld0fhcHEm4dtk6yhNGQ/videos

most of these are money matches here in the Philippines - some familiar names in pool and some really good "unknown" players. just ignore the noisy background (folks asking for bets, dogs barking, chickens, vehicles, karaoke, etc.)

ENJOY!

thanks for posting, i like that special noisy background:)

I don't even pay to watch television, much less pool, and the constant reports of bad/choppy/slow streams ain't going to make me change my mind on paying to watch pool anytime soon.

give it time

I think that live streaming is still in its infancy. Folks are still figuring things out, technology will improve and the demand for it will increase. I believe with time these glitches will be worked out. It is like a lot of things that are new and imperfect; you have to invest in something for a while before it gets better.

TAR, IMO has the best, most reliable stream. The advantage they have is not relying on an internet connection at a hotel or elsewhere. They pretty much know what they have to work with. That's the streamer we need to support.

if u don't like buying ppv's why not just wait for dvd's to come out and buy them? u can hand pick the best matches and u can watch them @ your leisure and resell them later if u get tired of watching them!
