YES, I KNOW that IS the point dolt. When I'm on the computer it's 9:30 am my time. The kid says he lives in Washington (state of) that's 6:30 am. When someone comes on the forum, unless it's turned off, EVERYBODY'S name is LISTED right on the forum page unless they log off. If he was doing something else for school, he would have disappeared, PLUS HE POSTED!! His name, banknfoo was on the forum page from 6:30am -7:30am his time, idiot!! I DO KNOW because I was flipping back and forth to different posts and 9:30 my time is regular daytime hours asshole. His name NEVER disappeared for an entire hour. Just because you own a pool room doesn't mean shit...I've beaten owners and seem many of other players beat pool room owners. It's just like a pro that works on a golf course, if you're doing your job to make the money and keep the customers happy, you don't have much chance to play. My 2 cents

Im 19, male, college student from portland Oregon (i need to insert the obligatory Washington sucks bit here)
Ive been exposed to pool since well... id say 6 or 7. My grandparents have a table in their basement and i was always down there rolling the balls around, playing with a really short cue (half the usual lenghth) with my grandfather and my aunt.

Schooling wise... i graduated High School with a 3.7ish GPA, attending U of Nevada Reno now for journalism.
In HS at my grandparents i would play a few hours a week. I never actually went to a pool hall till junior year and only went very few times back home in Portland (not having a car or licence didnt help)
In the summer i would play all day in thier basement anywhere from 4-8 hours a day. The main reason i didnt lay much during school, was the fact i wasnt at thier house all that much. School work wise... well i never really studied alot (i dont reccomend that) but whenever i did study for things it never improved how i did as opposed to as when i did study. The main thing that took up time was essay writing in HS.

Now that im in Nevada, i play between 7-10 hours a week, give or take a few on how i feel and such, but im a regular at Keystone. Anywho thats my 2 cents
do well in school have fun. DO NOT put pool ahead of social things in HS, get involved with sports no matter what, cross country and track were the most fun i ever had with a group of people. Also, some schools in the state of washington start rather late in the day... to my knowledge

Thanks for the kind words, DDKOOP, and to all others who have rallied behind those of us who suddenly hold a spot on Gremlin's hallowed ignore list, a list he seems to imagine the entire AZB forum tracks very diligently.

To be grouped with Rodd, RichardCranium, CaptJR, Drivermaker, and Williebetmore, five prolific, knowledgeable, and articulate contributors to this forum is an honor.

Just like you, DDKOOP, and nearly all others on this forum, all five of them converse with me in a congenial and respectful manner. I feel very fortunate to have access to so much knowledge and expereince through the AZB forum. Once upon a time, far too many serious poolplayers took their playing secrets and their best war stories to the grave, but today, more and more, poolplayers are willing to share their experiences and knowledge with each other, and this forum most certainly makes it easier to do so.

Thanks to all who make my experience on the forum such a positive one. I must say, you guys really know your pool, and I've learned a lot from you.

That's one of my favorite movies. The star of that movie is a darn good actor too. He was in HBO's 'Band of Brothers' (my favorite "movie" of all time). Probably a defining moment in his acting career. Office Space was just plain hilarious.

The manager "that would be grrrreat" Lumbergh moves his desk to the dark basement and Milton is supposed to take care of the rat problem.
