1989 (most likely) : The White Spot had a big 9 ball event twice a year. One year it was to send a player to the Sands tournament in Reno. Anyway the big event when I finished 2nd, my journey started with Gerald and we had a battle and I prevailed 7-4. Six months later in the next big event I faced his wife. She beat me 7-2. She missed 2 balls, that account for my 2 wins.
