i finally found the file at harbor freight that JoeyinCali is always talking about!

Those inside threads were a real pain in the ass! Lol. And before anyone says it, yes, im aware they arent perfect, but its a start. The joint screwed on nicely and im going to cut it to size next time im in the shop. I cut the tenon a tad too small, but it still worked.

You are always talking about cutting threads with a file you bought from harbor freight. Lol. I was just joking around. I bought a thread mill and decided to give it a shot last night.

Thread mill is the way to go. I have been using one for 17 years. Love it.
