I got hustled by poolhustler

To be honest, the Papa Johns pizza wasn't the best I have had, but Jay and I were both really hungry! I think that anything would have tasted good at that point!! One of my favorites is a little place down past Dana Point called Sonny's. Their pizza has thin crust and spicy sauce. Yummm!!

Jay is quite the wordsmith, let me tell you. By readiing his account of the evening, one would get the impression that actually know how to play one pocket. Sheeesh, I can barely play good 9 ball. I think that he was the one hustlin' me!!!

Thanks for the invite Monte, I will definately take you up on it one of these days!! I would love to see your beautiful table.

And thanks for the prop Nate (cuetechasaurus), you're definately a cool guy also! Has it rally been 10 years?? Where does the time go? For those in the area, Nate runs a nice 9 ball tournament on Monday nites at Plush Pocket out by Northridge, CA. Check it out!

Russ.....

I was born and raised in San Diego and love pizza........At 28 years old I went to live in New York for 6 years.....YES.....The pizza and Italian food is much, much better than my home state of Calif....After coming back to Calif. I haven't been able to find anywhere that has pizza like New York.....
The type and stlye of Chinese food in New York is different than Calif. but not better.. Just different food...
I never knew how good Pizza or Italitan food could be until I went to New York...

Sonny's pizza in San Clemente is highly recommended but it's always so busy. No wonder no one goes there anymore (sorry, I had to add a Yogi-ism). Sonny also had a pool bar at the other end of town that I used to visit often.

More ammo!

New York's Chinatown needs a severe visit the from Health Dept. The Bldgs are 150 --200 years old, and that is reflected a great deal in their toilets. I would only consider doing number 2 in one of their toilets if I had a 17 round Glock to use on the giant roaches.

Never been to the pool bar, but Sonny's used to have smokin' hot waitresses. Lately they have been sub par!!!

It's been a while since I was at Sonny's and I happened to notice those smokin' hot waitresses. Ya gotta love 'em. They made dining there an uplifting experience. :)

Next time I see Sonny, I'll have him fix the sub-par situation.
