I know a lot of people don't care for his threads, but I doubt anyone in here wouldn't like his new pool room! I wish I lived closer than 45 miles! He has ALL Diamond tables, I think 17 total, a mix of bar tables and 9'ers. It is a true "player's room". If you find yourself in South Carolina, stop by and check it out.

He answered the phone when I called for directions, and he was there the entire time I was. There is even a sign on the bar that says something like "Want to practice with Grady? Just ask him." He is there all the time.
 
That sounds amazing. I hope I get a chance to go there some day soon. I wish there were more rooms like that in America.

I think I will be there every day from now until I die:D Or at least until I leave town again. I will definitely be there both days of the tournament.

Nobody got a problem with Grady up in here, playa.

People are just sick and tired of being sick and tired of being subjected to his whiny negative off base threads, and people just started to tune him out.

I'm well aware of that, and I read all of the replies to his threads, both negative and positive. I said people don't care for his threads, not him. He's really a very nice guy and I don't think many people will argue that.

I feel so cheated that I can't visit Grady's place at will. I'd have to fly there and that makes and afternoon of practice with Grady very expensive. In my single days I might have made the pilgrimage. :)

I've always liked a pool room that had both 7 footers and 9 footers. That way, when there is a 7 foot table tournament going on, the big table boys can get together and do a little playing on the 9 footers waiting for the 7 foot boys to come try their stuff and vice versa.

Having both size tables brings the greatest numbers of players to a pool room, IMHO.

I prefer a pool room with all three table sizes.I learned how to play on a 4 x 8 ,and to this day is my favorite box size .Too bad you don't see many 4 x 8's in pool rooms anymore .It's mostly 9 footers and bar-boxes.:(

4 x 8's are mostly used in a domestic capacity.

Walt go to Whiteys in Metairie.......... PLenty of old Brunswick 8 footers........... beware its cramped LOL
