I just forgot to TELL you I was going to stall you for the money!
My bad-
Oh, and shame on the player who wouldn't bend over or lay down, or who tried to defend himself by being forthright and hiring a lawyer so that he wouldn't be stalled.
Shame Shame Shame.
And I should be really mad but I'll let it go, cause everyone got paid,
but I fought with everyone, including the people who helped me, because I wanted access to the accounts
and I was denied and made to do everything by the book instead.
I promise,
next year-
I'll only put the tip in...

Ouch Angel.....this is about as upset as I have ever seen you post. :-)

All 100% valid points!

However- I remain confused:

Green rep from me, thanks for posting this.

You're welcome!

however, I'm struggling to find some logic, merit and value in The US Joke
versus the nostalgia and hostage taking that's allowed to go on.
I've seen some cracked caps but this, this is tragic.

it's like: I know I'm going to be bent over, but I learned to bring lube,
so that's makes it okay.

absolutely excruciating to have this tournament become a promoter ego stroke
rather than be a cherished player event with the blessings of all that participate.

and does ANYONE grasp how we look in the worlds eye?

Don't tell me you want to up your game and do stuff classy and professional
to improve the image of Pool and then keep showing up to the biggest mockery and guessing game around in "professional" pool.

when a house is not structurally sound, it is razed, and a new one is built.

there are reasons people leave the game,
but the worst one
is heartbreak....

Sorry to go a little off course here, but I became friends with Gene in the mid to late 90s, although I had the honor of practicing with him pretty regularly I never questioned him about his younger years. Would love to read that article.

Is there any way that you can post a readable copy of it, or PM one to me?

Thanks.

Jim

People believe what they WANT TO BELIEVE. Pool is in such a bad state that everybody wants the U. S. Open to be great. They know what's going to happen but the combination of nothing else happening (meaning no other tournaments) and desperation causes them to keep coming back to Barry.

MAJOR PROPS TO CORRY! YOU DA MAN!!

More pics of the op please.
I like the ones that show off those curves.

P.S.
Not Fatboy or Cleary's curves either, you can leave them out. Thanks

"Winners never quit, quitters never win" -- 6 words Barry, not seven.

"EVER" -- four letters Barry, not five.

See a pattern here Chgo player?

Every year at the beginning of football season Lucy pulled the football and Charlie Brown fell on his ass but Charlie always came back the next year to try to kick that football again.

9am eastern time will tell if the check is good or not???

Yeah, I'll be watching too. If they do clear the players can at least have a little faith that they will get paid but eventually luck has to run out and chances are some year everyone is getting stiffed.

Then he needed to date them the 29th not the 28th!!!

Who reads the us open Facebook? More then one will be bright and early at the bank.

So, when it hits the fan. It was a miscommunication! Lol

Technically, checks are required to be good at bank open on date of check! Not 3 pm and is that Baghdad time??? Lol

Technically checks are required to be good when the check is written no matter the date on it unless the person writting the check puts a postdate watch on the check which is normally a 30 dollar fee. When that happens the bank is basically borrowing you the money to cover the check until that date. I've worked for a large bank for the last 10 years and although I'm not a teller I see it happen all the time. People will write a personal postdated check and give it out and that person will decide they don't want to wait and come cash it. As soon as that check is signed it's legal tender and can't be refused unless it's 30 days past the issue date.
