I know, I know, I know. You'all have told me to buy some for years, but I have always been an Everest man! Time came to replace a couple of tips this week (and I happened to see a thread on the milk-duds again) so I thought, why not?

Best Decision Ever!

Not only does Jeff make a stellar product but his customer care was top notch! He had great communication, updated my iTrader, and checked to make sure my tips arrived timely and that I was happy with them.

Install went great. I install all my own tips by hand and was blown away by how easy they were to install. I got used to installing layered tips (which can be tedious by hand...YMMV.) After burnishing them, they turned the sexiest shade of slate blue-grey, making that shaft look like a menace ;)

Played just like people on here have described. Somewhere between a soft to medium, but its a hard tip. I'm one of those stupid, too much money, Kamui Chalk users you'all keep talking about. Chalked as usual and no miscues. I rarely go outside of 1 tip from center anyway. Great action on the cue-ball.

I didn't really write this as a review. More of a Thank you to Jeff for making sure he had a happy customer. Also to voice, once again, if you haven't tried one of these tips you are missing something special.

Yes, Im pointing at you!

Roy, I couldn't agree with you more on this. Pooldawg8's milk duds made my jaw drop. The performance of the tip is unbelievable. The service that I got was superb also. I bought 10 of his tips a little over a month ago and had every intention to give them away to people that were not happy with their current tip or just needed a new one. I gave 6 away and I decided to have one put on this week. Best decision I think I have made with a new tip hands down.

I'm gonna get some more soon and just start giving them away to get out to people. The feel of the tip and the play is exactly what I was looking for. I usually only run 1 rack of 9-ball in a 3 hour period when I am playing. After I put this tip on I ran 6 racks in a 2 hour period. I know it wasn't all the tip, but I was confident in what the tip would do and that made me shoot better.

My experience with Jeff from first contact, actual purchase, delivery of tip, and installation of tip was perfect. He will definately get repeat business from me.

PoolDawg8s milk duds, simply the best tip out there. An the man that supplies these is first class.

I will throw out something else beneficial I found that resulted from my dawg-dudding...

I have always been a bit of a masher, just can't do what I want on the table without hitting the ball hard. Them dawg-duds has be allowed me to play with a much lighter stroke and, whaddya know?! The pockets take a lot more balls now, compared to when I shot hard.

I havent missed a ball in days!:embarrassed2:

glad another has come to the "dawg" side...... they are truely the best tips i have ever used....and it doesnt hurt that jeff is such a awesome dude....all my cues get a dawg on them.....

DawgDuds are the best milk dud tips out there IMO.
Jeff really goes out of his way to make sure his customers are happy, and he tries real hard to keep his prices down.

Agreeded

I'm a little old school, Now a days we have so many big money layered tips out there. I have used a few of them but really don't think they would make me play any better. what did all the pro's and big names players use back in the day, La pros, tryangle, Elk master, and so on. There where no layered tips back then. I really dont like a regular Elk Master as they are two soft for me, I have had Jeff's milk Duds on hand for my customers for a while now. I thought it would be better if I tryed one and knew what hey where all about to be better informed as far as my customer are concerned. I love them they are great tips, One thing I noticed from the start was when you have the CB on the rail and you have to hit high on the CB. I have shot this shot with the milk Dud about 20 times and never never miss cued. This tip really grabs the CB . The bottom line is Jeff makes a great tip at a very fair price and is a supper guy to deal with.

For all the people who have never tryed a Milk Dud from Jeff. Before you spend big money on some 47 layered gold platted tip from Japan or anywhere else for that matter. For the price of a coffee now a days you can have one of the best playing tips out there.

Well I text and talk to pooldawg8 over the phone so I would say yes I am.

I text & talk to Jeff as well.
In addition I send him pm's once in a while, so that should make me senior vice president in charge of all international and domestic sales.
In other words, as a distributor you now have to go through me, and I set the pricing structure.
In addition, my title puts me in charge of all plant operations and quality control>>

Who do you think you are? Predator or something? I think the tips are great and the one I have on my playing cue is my last one. Its been on for about a year or better.:)

Dawgduds

Jeff's tips ......

Quality control...excellent.

Grabbbbbbability.......excellent.

Shape and sidewall durability.......excellent.

Pricing.....beyond excellent.

Color.....a cool blue hue.

Customer service....a modern day miracle...this man has an old school ethics soul.

An all-around amazing value in an overpriced gadget oriented market.

Oh-yeah-I like 'em too.

(As a 'Johnny Appleseed', I've given away a couple of dozen to fellow players. They like em too. So-I guess I'm already a distributor too:grin:)

Note to Jeff: Dude-these last too long. How you going to kick up repeat sales, if they don't go bad???

Great tips, great guy. Try one on your next tip change. No break in period required, in my opinion. They are very tall-maybe cut down a little if that bothers you appearance wise.

Well I'm the only the league player here in Indiana that is actually has a sponsor. In other words Dawg Duds is my sponsor. I have the patch on my league shirt to prove it.

Well, I gave Jeff the name, Dawg's Duds so that makes me, ummm, nothing. Or maybe when Jeff gets going large, I can be head of advertising.

Anyhow, you guys are correct, Jeff is a good guy to deal with and his Duds are second to none.

I'll be honest. I haven't tried one. Heck, I've never tried any form of milk dud.

I currently use a Tiger Onyx and I'm in love with it. But, you guys really have me leaning toward one of the DawgDuds when the time comes.
