I Miss TAR

I remember the bemused look on Busty's face after he played Shane....
"I thought I played pretty good, but Efren said I played like shit."
:)

Towards the end, all I could remember is Shane was almost always involved. If one would look at this "variety" I suspect that many of the other players were involved early.

I didn't say you made sh!t up, but if you can read that into what I wrote, whatever.

As far as "what do I know?", apparently it isn't how to make it successful and make a profit.

I still see BigTruck and others streaming, so apparently it can be done.

I wish you the best of rolls,

Ken

You are right in that a lot of the variety was early. How do you think I learned that Shane drew money where most others did not? I guess you would of just kept spending money on matches that lost money. How long did your pool business last and how much money did it put into the game? By the way TAR is still making money. I wake up the first of every month and its in my account.

You couldn't pay me enough money to do what BigTruck does. Also I don't see anyone paying out what TAR did. So yeah I guess if paying the players a decent amount of money means I didn't know what I was doing I guess you are right.

You keep sitting on the sidelines criticizing people who actually do things. Its suits you well.

TAR 20: Earl Strickland vs Shane VanBoening is now available on demand on the TAR Video On Demand channel on Vimeo.

This match was $10,000 a man winner take all, 10 ball race to 100 on an evil 5x10 table. It had it all from ear muffs to magnifying glasses. John Schmidt sat in for some commentary and dropped some of the best one liners in TAR history as well.

About twenty hours in length this match was epic. You can stream to any device for an unlimited time as well as download and save the files. Price is $19.95 and its available now at:

https://vimeo.com/ondemand/tar20

I, too, miss purchasing and watching the TAR matches, but JCIN's excellence remains a valuable asset in our sport and anything he's involved in is sure to carry the highest production values.

Don't the players that BigTruck streams put up their own or their backer's money?

That's probably why he is still streaming.

this is the match I referred to in my op.

It has it all...

buzzing ferrules, baggage handler muffs, hilarious commentary to the point you might pee your pants, table gaffiness, and even a little baby hating.

Shane was having some difficulty trying to figure this table out - Earl looked like he might have been born on it.

this match is a must see.

I said it was my favorite but you guys have me thinking I must get the Mills-SVB match to see what all the talk is about.

thx JCIN

best,
brian kc
