i need HELP !!! palmer style

a very good customer wants me to convert an old titlist, and wants a palmer style window. i have made a few in the past and finally got the process about figured, but he wants his name on the rod inside the clear window. this piece is made of metal and has a diameter of about 3/4 inch and is about 2 inches long.
what method or process should i use to get his name, etched, printed, engraved, painted, or otherwise writted on the rod ??????

Does it want it to look like the old palmer foil label? if so you could contact Paul rubino. I know he has some of the original foils and a lot of Palmer parts

If you just want it engraved, take it to a trophy shop. They can engrave about whatever you want.
