I need HELP!

JC...The Paragon is Diamond's top of the line table...definitely NOT a furniture "style" table...full professional all the way.

It's in the basement. It's your table. Your dream.

Get the table you want. It's not like you're putting it in the entry hallway. She can decorate the living room, kitchen and bedroom.

Lots of real 9 footers with three piece slate to get down there. Diamond Pro is as real as it gets.

Don't settle for some goofy furniture table. Have your wife treated for her first world syndrome. It's a bad disease that needs to be nipped in the bud.

As another poster already mentioned , if you have not played on a Diamond , they play radically different than Brunswicks as far as kicking and bankingfor the average guy, make sure you have played on a couple before buying one.
Also I find them much more difficult for installers to get right than Brunswicks.
So unless the installer has been trained to do Diamonds ,you can get very different results.

Domestic tranquility is indeed important, but this is your table. Having an equal, even superior say in it is more important.

Get what you want.

Wrong attitude. Domestic tranquility is important. Either she is happy, or no table.

Her happiness should revolve around areas of life that don't involve a man's pool table down in the basement.

I was married to a couple of those micro managerial control freak types. If the wrong pool table sours the deal, the deal was already sour.

I don't miss those women but I do love my Diamond Pro. God help the men who they are with now.

Well, I will try to keep this thread from heading south by steering away from how to achieve marital bliss. So, I contacted Mr. Gregory and thankfully for me the wife likes the Anniversary. (not such a huge fan of the metallic Centennial)

So now I just need to figure out how much plasma I can sell, start a go fund me page, start a lemonade stand, or any other way to scrap together the delta $ from a Diamond cost to a Mark Gregory Anniversary.

I can't even begin to imagine how beautiful that table would look like in a private home.

Be sure to post some pics when you get your table & surroundings complete... Congrats...
