I think I'm getting ripped off

Fraud

I had a dude from Chicago shaft me on a Titlist. A couple months later my brother and his buddies were in Chicago for a game. I called the guy and asked if the cue was on the way. He laughed and told me to f-off. I told him to go answer his door. He thought I was kidding. My brother got the cue.

These people are nuts. You can't hide for ever these days. For $4300 I'd be on that guys porch with some plyers and a cutting torch.

If this crime went down I know a few boys from Jersey who could have helped. It was good to have his address.

I have many experiences too long to get into here, but, I can guarantee you one thing for sure. THE POST OFFICE IS NOT GOING TO DO ANYTHING.

He can go in there and have the mail transferred/delivered to another PO box or address and you will never see him. You might as well figure this cue is gone.

lol good call dude....

Call the Post Office where it is to be delivered and ask them to stop delivery. Also call the Postal Inspectors in your area and ask them for advice. They may be interested because this constitutes mail fraud. Don't delay because once it's delivered it becomes much harder.

He's been there and he's done that. That bish Holmes ain't gettin chit.

I'm glad to hear things seem to be getting better for ya. This board is unreal when it comes to finding scammers:D

Just a thought though, next time someone uses that excuse tell them to send payment through Paypal and you can ship as soon as their payment gets there:cool: Otherwise they'll have to wait for their check to clear:p

Just in case this info gets lost in the thread:

Pulled this info off of google.

J Holmes
718.358.6855

4266 Phlox Place
Apt E2
Flushing, NY 11355

Mailing the cue makes it a federal offence. Assuming the cheque bounces.
I agree with BlackJack that the J (ohn) Holmes is 95% most likely a fake name. Marissa, we aren't talking about some small town in Georgia. Flushing is a large section in NY and I would have been surprised if you didn't find a 'J Holmes' there.......but not our man.

I don't know what that means in English, but he did call the Post Office and they stopped delivery. If he calls the PI they will also take action.

Now, I know you're reading this - I know you're having fun playing with your multiple personalities - and believe me when I say this - you are definitely original, and very convincing when you have to be.

Great movie, of of the few I've seen where you had no idea what was going to happen next.

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."

I called the Flushing PO at 4:00 and the cue is on its way back to me. Thanks everyone for your help and support. Its a great thing we got going here at AZ.

Congratulations, You're very fortunate indeed. It'd be great if this guy could be kept out of here.
