Hi
all, I just wanted to share with you this : I won the 10 Ball tournament here in Bucharest, after I lost my first match, coming back from the left side.It seems the match with Souquet really gave me something extra :thumbup:It was 12 hours between the starting of the first match and the finish line. I played the mental game perfect, I stayed very focused and the reward came. I just want to share with you the benefits of " The inner game of tennis", I think it is the best about mental game book I have ever read. Even it was written for tennis players, it applies very well for pool players also.

Congratulations!

Thanks for the recommendation about The Inner Game of Tennis. I've flipped through the book a few times but have yet to buy it.

Have you read Pleasures of Small Motions by Bob Fancher? Another good one, and specific to cue games.

Phinmole, it is a 30 $ cue, Artemis is called. Straight, simple, but yet predictable.
Rethunk, The pleasures was in the same package with The inner game . So in a few days I will start to read it.

Congratulations on your victory! May it be the first of many.

I agree completely with your assessment of "The Inner Game of Tennis". In fact, I have a review of it on my site.

Congratulations!

Congratulations!

Often it is the mental game holding someone back more than the physical one. When the mental game is working it lets you lay down the very best physical game you can play at that moment.

Winning coming all the way up the losers side is definitely doing it the hard way. Nice win!

Thanks all for the kind words
Now the next matches will come, so I will start again. I don't remember who said it, I think it was an american, but I like this saying " In pool, you are as good as your next match outcome "

It's so easy to get discouraged when you lose the very first match - way to hang in there - now that you have tasted victory may you have many more
