The ICCS took place last week from August 27th thru the 29th and was a wonderful event attended by collectors, cuemakers, and casemakers from across the United States as well as some from overseas.

The cues and cases on display were outstanding and to attempt to provide a complete list would be difficult so I will let the pictures, which I will post over the next few days, provide that information.

It was truly interesting to see so many fine examples of cues often only read about and I am not sure whether any historically significant cuemaker was not represented.

Three new cuemakers were admitted: Chris Byrne, Joshua Treadway, and Mike Durbin all of whom had impressive examples of their work on display.

In addition, Sandra Brady made a presentation on the status of the ivory ban and the work being done by The Elephant Protection Organization to disseminate accurate information to the public and state and national legislators.

Thursday night a tournament was held at Felt Billiards and was the only time I had two legendary cuemakers, Richard Black and Ernie Gutierrez, watching from behind and a world champion, Nick Varner, playing on a table next to me.

Please be patient on pictures as I have hundreds from the three days.

The first pics are just a quick sampling and overview. Hopefully, others in attendance will post pictures as well.

The pictures I am posting in this thread are personal pictures and do not represent what the International Cue Collectors organization might want posted. These pictures are casual pictures taken with an iPhone at my leisure and I admittedly overlooked taking shots of many fine cues that were present. I apologize for those omissions and they should not reflect on the importance and contributions of those cues, cuemakers, or collections.

Jay,

It was great having you attend the ICCS this year, and I look forward to you exhibiting your wonderful cue collection at our next annual event.

I know you took a lot of great pictures of the cues "in attendance" this year and I very much appreciate
you taking the time to laboriously post the pictures in this thread for all to see and enjoy.

It was a memorable weekend, and it is nice to both capture and share the events of the weekend. On Saturday we had a nice turnout with attendees
from Colorado and several regional states, and a good time was had by all who came.

I look forward to our next one, as the 2016 event already has some unique and wonderful new additions.

This thread also serves to document the 2015 ICCS cue exhibition, so others who took pictures of the event should freely post your pictures as well. :)

Thanks again!

Will Prout
ICCS President

Thanks for sharing! For the ones you can remember is there any chance you can note below each picture who the people are and for the cues that weren't already labeled in the picture who the cue maker was?

Iccs

Wow Jay thanks for sharing all the great pictures. I really wanted to go but had other commitments. Some fantastic cues were there.

Christmas in August

Being a collector of Palmer cues, I was most pleased to see these historical cues in person and be able to touch them and hold them in my minds. I want to thank all of the exhibitors for being so generous in allowing attendees to do just that. Nothing was locked or under glass.

Palmer - 1st Catalog Model 5 - Willie Mosconi

Being a Palmer collector and a fan of Willie Mosconi this was one of the highlights of the show for me. The only thing that would trump holding this cue would have been to actually shoot with it. Thank you again Richard Goulden for your generosity.
