I'd like to apologize to Johnny Archer

Life is way to short for drama and all of this just really is a big headache that's totally unnecessary. I enjoy playing pool and I enjoy watching pool. I'm not a pro and I do not make a living in pool... but for some people, it's not only their job, it's their life. Sometimes I catch myself caring too much about the politics of this game.

I really do care about the friends I've made from this game. And some of those friends run companies, some of them are bangers like me and some of them are professional players. One of those is Mike Dechaine. I stood up for Mike, but I did it in a wrong way. I shouldn't have posted the texts for him. If he wanted them up, I should have let him do it, but I made the mistake and for that I'm sorry to Johnny, Mike and the AZBilliards staff and everyone who posts here.

You're a good man and an asset to the forum. :)

Cleary, you're a lot more fun when you're all fired up about something....:p

Though I appreciate seeing you offer an apology. Many won't stand up and be accountable like that. Good form.

Now find something else to amuse us with, here in AZB land

I'm still sour about not getting in on that investment opportunity in Vegas... Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo I still hate you!!!:grin::grin:

I do the same thing...get a little too fired up sometimes and hit the submit button before reading what I I typed. We all make mistakes and aren't perfect...life goes on.

Have a beer tonight on me...give me your paypal and let me know which beer is your preference.

This is nice to hear, it was wrong and you apologized.

I never got to read the texts. Can you post them again for me please?

;)

You sure did start a sh1tstorm. It was rather predictable that both JA AND MD would be overly trashed. Many of us here know things @ pool that shouldn't be posted. That's what PM's to trusted friends are for, or silence.

I learned the hard way. I found out a month ago that BB got a 3 year, $5 million deal and posted about it. They found out @ my post and pulled the plug. It was me who killed BB! :grin-square:

Anyway, better late than never on the apology you crazy sob.

Very stand up of you! I understand you taking up for your friend, I got the same way over Johnny. I don't know Mike well at all but he was always nice the times I have had any interaction with him. I do respect the way he handles himself on here by being respectful in his responses.

Good man. People should own what they say but I know you wouldn't want to hurt johnny or his career.
Mike does a pretty good job defending on the forums when he has to.

AZ is turning into a Hallmark apology card...

Hallmark cards always have to have an image.

I'll tell you, it's takes a big man to admit he's wrong, even when he's right, which is almost always, sometimes.
I once told a guy he ate shit sandwiches on wheat bread. I later learned he was gluten intolerant. Boy, was I embarrassed.

For your penance, you must wear the orange outfit for a solid week and all will be forgiven.

But seriously, I have been searching for the texts and couldn't find them. If you would care to PM me the link I am very interested - no need to do anything more to make this public but I am awfully curious.

Nice post by the way.

More or less, it said "screw you, hippy, I will break you".

The brutal thing about the internet is one post can often change peoples opinions about someone. The great thing about the internet is one post can often change peoples opinions about someone.

Nice post.
