Beautiful piece. I have nothing to add, but how do you know it is for cues? Any pics for the inside of the drawers?

Good luck!

Contact horseshoebilliards.com Jerry might know as he specializes in that sort of thing.

VMAX I'm not certain on anything of this nature, but I once saw a cue cabinet that looked identical to this one at a guy named Abe Wambold's house about 15 or so years ago. Abe lived in Ephrata Pa. and had more valuable cues then anyone I've ever known. The cabinet matched his early 1900's table (I believe it was a Brunswick and a beautiful one at that). I also believe there were there was another matching piece of furniture, but I can't be sure of that anymore. I hope this helps a little, or is at least an interesting story. You may be able to find some pics if you search.

Looks like your up on you knowlage, somesone just called and said early

I have seen simlar cabinets that were made by Brunswick. The cues could be secured in the drawers with locks, I dont remember how many cue fit in each draw though. But in my opinion it is a Brunswick.

Hope this helps

I remember reading about Abe W's passing not very long ago (months).

Scott Sherbine at Proficient Billiards has what seems like the majority of this gentleman's estate (the pool related stuff) up on his site on auction.

Contacting Scott might shed some more light and, perhaps, he may even have the other matching items.

What you posted looks terrific. Looking forward to more pics/info.

Best,
Brian kc
