It is not a wellington. if you look at the ends of the cabinet, a
wellington has little raised panel mouldings. As far as being a
brunswick,could be. Does not effect its value. certainly worth
500.00. Bruns. did put nameplates on their tables but got swapped
out a lot by service companies in the 40S and 50s. on some very
old brunswicks you will find a stencil name on the bottom of the slate
but never on the frame. the only concern in antiques is playability.
antiques generally have very forgiving pockets due not only to the
opening but due the the slate. look at the photo you will see how far out that the slate is cut. when restoring antiques we usually build this area
out to help tighten the table up. Look at prices for cloth.cushion,
pockets and see if it is worth it to you! Good luck!
