Identify Pool Table?

Just ran across this table and was wondering what it is? The guy thinks its a Brunswick made in the early 1900's.He wants $500 for it. I have included some pictures. He claims the rails were redone about 9 years ago. Let me know! Thanks again.

how many rail bolt in the head and foot rails?
brunswick used 4 most all others only had 3
it aint proof but if it has 3 it aint brunswick

I am not there to physically look at it yet. My father is going on Monday to have a gander at it.
 
I did a few Saunier-Wilheim tables in N.E. Ohio back in the early 90's that looked similar to this one. It also does look like a Brunswick.

No matter, try to negotiate a lower price....I'd never pay asking price myself but, $500 wouldn't be bad and then take your sweet time putting it together and do it right. Would make a great playing table for you!

As for the bolts 3 bolts per rail is an 8' table 4 bolts is generaly 9' and 5 is a 10' table this is just a rough guide line.

Craig - I think you might be right on the Wellington. Here's one assembled at Classic Billiards in MD:

Don't think it's a Brunswick as they were all marked with the logo. Is there anything marked on the slate on the underneath side ?

It is not a wellington. if you look at the ends of the cabinet, a
wellington has little raised panel mouldings. As far as being a
brunswick,could be. Does not effect its value. certainly worth
500.00. Bruns. did put nameplates on their tables but got swapped
out a lot by service companies in the 40S and 50s. on some very
old brunswicks you will find a stencil name on the bottom of the slate
but never on the frame. the only concern in antiques is playability.
antiques generally have very forgiving pockets due not only to the
opening but due the the slate. look at the photo you will see how far out that the slate is cut. when restoring antiques we usually build this area
out to help tighten the table up. Look at prices for cloth.cushion,
pockets and see if it is worth it to you! Good luck!

Thank you very much! I just wish I was able to be there to look at it. I have a hard time buying something without seeing it with my own eyes. I will keep you guys posted.
