Identify this cue RANT

Crusing other sites today and for over twenty years, same old BS. Someone finds a cue and we get a post can you identify this cue and value. NOT ONCE have i really ever seen a cue worth value. Once in a while you might get a $300 cue but I've never seen anything really good.

Most asking knowledgeable people to do the leg work for them simply so they can try and flip it for a quick buck. Especially on reddit, it's just non stop "identify this cue", and it's usually a crappy screenshot from Craigslist or Facebook.

Sounds normal to me. What's the rant?

I don't go on reddit or FB. I ignore all that.

It got a lot worse over the five years I was gone and it irritated me at first but I am over it mostly.

Cue ID is fun for me, and I have indeed seen a few gems. They will always be few and far between. Needles in the haystack.

as far as rants go
it wasnt ranty enough for me

You know what annoys the hell out of me. People who complain about other seeking information. As if there’s some kind of crucible one should go through before daring to ask a community for their thoughts. On a message board of all places.

OP’s account is the same age as an infant but acts like he’s been here long enough to demand this board only be used by gatekeepers and elite questions for wannabe semi pros and bar banging super heroes.

How dare the normies come here and slightly annoy other relatively new members.

If the cue was any good they would have a trademark or name of the cue maker.

It doesn't surprise me. If someone had something good than they would probably be notified by previous owner or whoever they received the cue from.

Only good cues are the ones someone may ask what it is and purchased from a pawn shop. If a pawn shop takes it than it has some value. Other than that....if nobody knows what it is than its mostly shit.

Infants are not 3 years old, get it right that's a toddler.

How much is my signed Balabushka worth? WOOHOO!!! If you bring an item to a qualified appraiser, you have to pay. Pool players want the safety of not leaving a dime on the table when selling, and they want that information for free. But then again, to save a buck they bring their own water to a pool room, so I guess I should not be shocked.

Definitely not true.

People pay good money to experts to identify very valuable cues and provide a documented written opionion.

In addition, there are unmarked and marked forgeries.

Would you like to see a TS forgery?

You talk a lot, but I am pretty confident you know less about "custom" cues than you would like people to think. I think that is growing more obvious.

Agree 100%. People snag some cue in a pawn-shop/thrift store and are convinced they scored a nugget. Most of the time its just another generic asian dog turd.

Ladies and gentleman this is the Chinese carbon shaft expert.

Not because they hit great but they are cheap.

Message him and he will send you to some dodgy website. Enter coupon codes and get a "$500" shaft for $99.

LOL

Not once??? Really? I ran across a guy, I believe on Reddit, who had an unidentified Wayne Gunn. Obviously that's not a Bushka or Boti. But, still. it was a really nice cue that I'd be super happy to find in the wild.

How else would I gain knowledge? I don't know jack, about all these different cues.
