Identify this Cue

Well a buddy of mine has this cue, looks to be an old Meucci to me. Here are the pictures of it. Let me know what you think. He is also looking to move this if he gets the right offer on it. Cue does have a lift in the butt but together the tip does not leave the table.

Whatever it is, I think its got a lot of cool-looking features & I like the understated aesthetic.

Def looks like a pre first catalogue Meucci to me. Did you take off the rubber bumper to see if it had a penny in it witch would tell you the year it was made? If it has the penny def a meucci. Also a slight possibility it could have been made when bob was working out of paul hueblers shop. I think that's why nick asked if it had a nylon or brass insert.
