If not purchasing pool cues here, what online billiard store is best in your opinion?

Hi,

I'm very new on AZB with a lot of interest in many of the cues up for sale. They are something I would probably pursue/purchase/partial trade for if the person was local in MN and we could talk or meet up. However, I have this 35th sense (aka "common") that something is awry or askew based upon my own PMs and emails I've received.

I am now turning to reputable dealers such as Seyberts.com, Ozonebilliards.com, Billiardswarehouse.com, Superiorcues.com and the respective custom cue makers' sites.

I look for excellent Customer Service, hassle-free returns/repairs and obviously, the best price around. If you have any other stores other than the above I frequent, please let me know.

I don't think I'm ready to purchase/trade on this board just yet.

Thank you,

Taemin :)

Many good dealers here.

Welcome to AZ Billiards Forum. If you keep watching the for sale/want to buy section, you will see many individual sellers with outstanding reputations.I could recommend many, but I'm sure I would forget some,so do your "homework" and keep watching and learning. There are many good deals to be had here too, because the seller doesn't have to pay a fee, like on Fleabay.Good luck.

Other than a list of other web sites for you to visit, I don't know what you're looking for. However, unless you are looking fro something specific in a cue or pool related item that you are selling or wish to buy, this is not the forum for your question. Your best bet would be the Main forum.

Thank you batalarms! I feel like I'm addicted to this site and forum already! I'll definitely keep what you said in mind.

Hi Chris,

I apologize and appreciate your advice. Main forum, duly noted. :)

Welcome to AZ!! Firstly there are many honest people here. Just do your research on them and if you can't find anything out about them just post a thread and let fellow AZ'er tell you about them.

As to your question I would recommend using Ozonebilliards/Seyberts. I have done business with both and the customer service is wonderful for both. I will also suggest you check out www.budgetbilliards.com

Good Luck in your search and I hope you find what you are looking for.

Hi,

Budgetbilliards.com is one that I have not browsed. Thank you very much for the welcome and advice. I truly appreciate it.

In all fairness to sellers/traders, I will have this post deleted as to not bump their threads to lower.

I can understand your thoughts on the so called "super billiard stores", but, please remember, that dealers of cues like myself have long been around before them and are still the backbone of the billiard industry. I've sold cues for over thirty years. My ebay rating on over 430 transactions is still 100 % and 30 + I tradrers here on AZ at 100 %. The other 2,200 + cues I've sold before the high tech world has developed was from the pure love of the game and the fasination with the works of art called pool cues. I also needed the help in making the house payments also. I live west of Hutchinson, but, am available to swap stories, give and take opinions and try to supply the best cue for your hard earned living. Will be at moma in rochester next week, send me a email at sales@cdand.com and hopefully meeting you in person will start to build a friendship as you can then ask a lot of players from B to Masters if they know me.
Thanks,
Chuck

Chuck, thank you so much and I do look forward to meeting, playing and hopefully purchasing/trading with your soon!

WoW You call everyone low down dirty thieves but then you want our help.

Maybe you should try learning the rules and getting to know AZ and its members before making such stupid statements. You just joined this month and you have a hole 17 post and most of them are all from over bumping your own threads like this one.

You dont think you are ready to purchase/trade, but yet you have an item for trade that you have way over bumped.

I admit this place isnt 100% perfect but I will say that 99% of the people here are honest and most of them will try to help people as much as they can and dont ask for anything in return, here you want advice on who to deal with, I will give you one name of the many many honest people here on AZ, Bamacues has over 500 itraders with 100% feedback but hey your 35th sense (aka "common") says he isnt worth dealing with, how funny.

Oh by the way Welcome to the site

21Gambler, I'm sorry if I my post leaves that impression, that was definitely not my intention. Yes, I will learn the rules here and have already asked for this thread and my other to be deleted. To be honest, you're quite abrasive and you just revived a "dead" thread.

LOL if my post leaves that impression you call everyone NOT reputable dealers, exactly how would one take this as a good thing.

If being reputable means over inflated prices like all those sites you named, I dont think anyone here wants to be reputable, honestly cant believe anyone would purchase from those sites.

I have no problem with being called abrasive, but what does that make you calling everyone NOT reputable dealers when you dont know anyone here, much less taken the time to get to know anyone here, and you make a general statement that we are all NOT reputable dealers, but yet I am abrasive for telling you the truth how funny.

Dead thread you obviously dont know what a dead thread is, if its on page 1 its not a dead thread very far from it.

I've already apologized to everyone and thanked them for their advice and tried (still trying) to take corrective action. I ask you, what more do you, personally, want me to do? Unregister from AZB? Please stop this as I don't wish to argue, rather I've learned my lesson - let's move on.

Argue hmm we arent arguing, I accept your apology and I am sure everyone else does as well, No I dont want you to unregister as the more good members AZ has the better the site becomes.

Any time you need information use the main forum ask a question someone here will most likely have an answer for you.

Once again welcome to the site and I wish you many good experiences

My advice is to check out the iTrader people have, I myself have a ton of them and great Ebay also, batting 100%. I think if you look at iTrader and also make sure someones rep is all green and not red then you should be okay. I feel safer dealing with people here with good iTrader then people on Ebay even. Good luck finding what you are looking for.

reputable

Hey buddy, I've bought and sold over 20 cues here without a hitch, and I know guys who've done over 100 deals. I know it can be quite scary for the first couple, but just do everything safe. PayPal to cover yourself, or use an escrow service. Darn near everybody who's on here with a good amount of iTrader is a good guy, even if you don't get to shake his hand.

I dont think the iTrader system is worth much, if you look at Howard the Dicks recent problems
