If you could take a lesson from anyone, pool player or instructor, who would it be and why?
Pool player wise I'd probably go with Ralf Souquet. Not just because he just won the World's, but because his game is always so consistant and has solid fundamentals. I don't know him personally, but he also would seem the type of person to have a lot of patience when giving a lesson (and anyone that knows me...
).
Instructor wise, I've heard a lot of positive things about Stan Shuffett. Plus, look how great his son plays at such a young age.
Locally, I wouldn't mind taking a lesson from little Al Romero. I hear he's an excellent instructor with tons of knowledge. Plus, he plays good one pocket and that's what I would really like to learn.
