If you were going to play a match for a lot of money

My choice is Schon mostly because I'm just an average guy who can't afford big bucks for a cue and of the cues I've owned, I like my Schon the best. Second place would be a McDermott d series I picked up cheap in a pawn shop.

I'm bored so I compiled a list.

Gina
Farris
Richard Black
Cuetec
Starkey
Horn
Huebler
Southeast
Richard Harris
Meucci original
Chudy rc3

Alex Brick 2
Southwest 2
Sugartree 2
McDermott 2
Tad 2
Gus Szambotti 2
Webb 2
Predator 2

House cue 3

Schon 4, one with predator shaft

Any cue

Schon without a doubt I have owned several and all the ones I ever hit with were pretty universal.Number two would be a AE and three a simple McDermott great hitting cue also.

I'll be the first to choose a Tim Scruggs. I have never hit a bad one and they are worth every penny...

Either a Joss or a Dufferin house cue with a good tip. I have never had a problem adjusting to either.

that was gonna be my answer. every shcon ive hit with hits good. so if i had to use a cue id never used before it would be one that I knew id like the hit.

Schon no doubt

I have to say

Southwest or Schon. I like tha hit of both. The remaining factor for me
is the balance of the cue. If the balance of a cue is not right, to me, that's like wearing a shirt that doesn't fit.

Give me a cue that is considered to "have a good hit" and let me put the TIP of my choice on it, weight of my choice and I do not care who the manufacturer is.

I'll take something off the wall....

you are playing for .. a bazillion dollars.... if your worried about the CUE... you shouldn't be playing in the first place....

if a cue changes your game you are a BANGER

that is all....

When was the last time anybody won the world championship or the U S open, Derby City or any other major tournament with a cue off the wall?

Any 19.3oz. cue with a Predator shaft, medium Moori tip, and an ivory joint. The rest doesn't matter.

when was the last time a winner of any of those tourneys.. thought they won because of the CUE?

Go to a pro tournament anywhere and see how many guys show up without a cue and just play with something off the wall. Point is, they aren't just bangers and they believe the cue makes a difference.

Im going with either a Nova or a Schon, the Nova would be my first choice simply because the hit is mostly the same as the schon but with less deflection in the shaft and usually a skinnier butt.
