If you've owned your Simonis X-1 for at least six months...

I've had one since last April and try to use it after every time I play, which is pretty much every day. I vacuum every 2 weeks or so. I will buy another when this one shows signs of wearing out.

yes i would buy this again
i use a shop vac to clean my table weekly
but for spot cleaning the simonis x-1 works well

I have not been abke to play for awhile due to health reasons. However, I have owned a X-1 for sometime. I use it first, then thouooughly brush ith a rail brush then a table and under rail combo brush. Every other time I use hand held Dydon. I touch up inbetween with the X-1. It seems to work well as part of the over all routine.

I am glad I have mine, and would recommend it.

I was given one as a gift three or four years ago and it is all I use to clean my table. Works well enough for me, so no complaints.

I'm not that impressed with mine. To me, I'm with Mikey and would give it not more than 3 out of 5. IMHO, not worth the investment YMMV.

I've had mine for two+ years. It works very well for chalk dust, other stuff, not so much. I still use a small battery operated hand vac for all the other little crumbs of whatever that seem to find the table.

Would I buy another? I don't know, I guess it's a maybe. I kind of think of it as a solution to a problem that I didn't know I had. Kind of like buying a $3,000 cue that makes balls go into holes, when my $200. sneaky can do it just as well.

Or how about those $150 magnetic chalk holders, can anyone live without one?

Not really. Not worth $90. I might pay $20 for it. Brush the table and use a damp cloth, I think you'd get better results.

Not worth the money. You can get the cloth much cleaner by vacuuming and damp cloth. Try using a damp cloth after using the x1, you'll get a lot more chalk off the cloth that the x1 missed. It's ok for spot cleaning but not $90 worth. Basically just a micro fiber cloth with a $89 handle.

Actually the x-1 cleans by the moving motion creating ststic electricity. In the scopeof playing, the cost is minimal. Note I also, cacum and use brushes so I have all bases covered. It gives a very good touch up

Well, decision made!

I used some Chase reward points to knock it down to c. $25. That way I'm fooling my brain into believing I really didn't pay $89.95... :D :smash:
