Having pros visit this site increases the value to this asset for many members.
There is a common tendency for unknowns to have a swing at a tall poppy, to call them out on their inconsistencies or imperfections. In order to encourage pros to join this community we need to be on the side of caution regarding allowing rudeness toward pros.
Now if a pro wants to risk his reputation by attacking another pro then it makes sense to give them a bit of rope to hang themselves. It provides an interesting insight into the mind of pros, which is a lot more interesting than getting insights into the mind of wannabe tall poppy slayers.
If the moderators don't get this balance right they'll soon hear about it. You can't please all the people all the time. However, I for one would like to see more pros feeling comfortable posting here and if that means some of the members have to bite their tongue a bit, so be it.

Your comments are all spot on.
I believe that those who complain about the censorship and the rules of the forum should choose to go elsewhere to argue their points.
The rules are here for all members to go by and they are not up for discussion.
As the dissenting people go their separate ways, the forum will get back to settling in on it's positive evolutionary journey.
Good contributing posters will return to posting when some of the angry dissenting posters disappear.
I especially agree with your comment about members biting their tongue when it comes to the professional players. They deserve some slack but that doesn't mean they will run roughshod over the regular posting
word-meisters on this forum. The smart professionals will be attempting to gain favor with fans rather than creating distance with them.
