I don't mind a little ribbing at all. It's just sad that it seems to be every time I post regarding Larry I have to hear it. Sometimes it seems that there are only people on here that wait for me to post about Larry just to say something.

That happens to everyone here who is connected to a pro in some way... whether it be by relationship or friendship. People are quick to judge those posters as if they have some hidden agenda, and most of the time, it's not fair. Just post the way you want to post, and don't worry about how people react to your friendship with him.

It doesnt have to happen that way though. Hell, Shane is my nephew and I am never on here bragging him up about winning whatever or making excuses about why he lost. The guy ought to be able to speak his mind, but use some tact and the haters will leave you alone.

you are getting good rep because the majority of people on here believe in everyone getting a chance to voice there own opinions. Most on here can also look at other people's opinions and see two viewpoints without taking it as an attack on them. There are some, however, that you cannot disagree with or you are automatically in the wrong.

I think that you can use a little more tact and tone down your posts with the language and severity but overall I'd say you've done nothing really bad. You should also be able to take a little ribbing for hanging on Larry's nuts, as that is all it is, a little humor and good natured ribbing.

What's funny is that the couple things of bad rep I've gotten came from people that didn't even post in this thread at all, I've never heard of and didn't leave a reason for the bad rep. Grow a set and speak your mind people! lol.

So I just pulled up my User CP to see what kind of bad rep I'm getting for this thread and I found that I've actually gotten way more positive rep then negative. I guess there are more people out there that agree with me then don't. It's nice to know I'm not the only "outsider" here anymore.

Just because you have received more good rep then bad rep, does not mean that more people agree with you. I have seen others use this argument before, even when they have been proven dead wrong. I think that some of the good rep recieved is from people who have either not read all the posts or hit the rep button instead. I am not agreeing or disagreeing with you on wheather you should have been banned or have been mistreated by the powers that be at AZBilliards. I just think the argument about getting more good rep, is not very valid. There are some on here who say rep is B.S. and doesn't matter, but are quick to point out the good rep received when they think it will prove that they are right.

This is some interesting stuff. To me it looks like suprnva needs to calm down a little and everyone else needs to stop "ribbing" him so much and everything will be kosher in the AZ world. I just look at it now and again to see what people are saying. When I brought it up I was just trying to say that it was kinda funny that I was getting more positive rep then negative for this thread when I was expecting the total opposite. So, my ban was lifted last night. The funny thing is, I don't know why I was banned in the first place. The only thing I can think of is the fact that I told John Schmidt how I feel about him and that's not acceptable because it's my own opinion and everybody knows that if you post on AZ you're not allowed to have your own opinions. But how come Danny Harriman hasn't been banned yet for talking shit to Mr. Schmidt? I didn't say anything worse then he has and he's still here. Doesn't make sense.

Not much does make sense on these forums though. Forums are supposed to be open for people to share there thoughts, opinions and stories. For some reason thought AZ is different. AZ is a place for some people to share those things and then to give people that don't agree with them shit and then for the "outsiders" to get banned for not conforming. Well there's no ****ing way that I'm going to conform. I'm going to continue to stand up for my friends and talk shit to people I don't like. If people don't like the shit I have to say, DON'T READ MY ****ING POSTS. I don't give anybody on here shit for standing up for people they respect or admire or whatever so there's no reason for me to be given the shit I do. I'm not sure if people are jealous that I'm actually friends with a top player and all they can do is drool over the players they like and hope someday to get their autograph or what, but people need to get over that shit. If I get banned again for stating my opinions and standing up for a friend, so be it. But I refuse to be like the rest of you and change just so people will like me.

Who do you think is jealous of you for being friends with a top player? That sounds as bizarre as it can get.

And we wonder why pool has the image it does.

Anyone is allowed to express their opinions. It is the manner in which it is done that matters. Things can be said strongly yet tactfully, and without foul language. It is not conforming, just treating people with the type of respect you would like in return.

You know what, I used to have the same attitude about foul language...when I was fourteen. Seriously, I believed that if anyone was offended by my language, it was completely their problem. While I still feel it's mostly their problem, now that I'm a little more mature, I temper my language in certain situations out of sheer courtesy and politeness. Would you somehow be less of a man if you decided to be polite?

And no, I'm not offended by your language at all, but others in this AZB COMMUNITY are, so I try to be courteous to them. (And oh, by the way, don't forget we both AGREED not to use foul language when we joined this COMMUNITY.)

I agree with you about the pool hall. If one is offended by strong language, they don't belong there. That's just the way it is.

I see what you're saying. I just thought that after reading this thread it would be an easy solution. Like I said in my original post though, I don't need to be taken seriously as I'm new here and don't know everything that's happened in the past by any means.
