You're on my list of good guys and like was said above you're already a winner just having had the stones to put it out there in front of the whole freakin world. As they say in show business; break a leg!
 
I was practicing and remember some things I learned a while back.

Do NOT allow any self-talk that is discourageing. Dis means away from. Any thoughts going on in your head should be designed to take you closer to success. Any thoughts that take you away from success should be REPLACED by thoughts that ENcourage.... take you closer to feeling good, feeling pumped, feeling like you CANNOT MISS.

You posted a while back about coming upon Kim Davenport shooting a diagnoal straight in table length shot on a Diamond Pro cut pocket table and you took the cue stood up to the table, set up the cb in the pocket with the ob on the center spot and calmy nailed it. It being arguably the toughest shot on the table!!! Nailed it!! You said you have good mechanics.

DO not think about how you are playing.. about how your game is. Focus on your mechanics which are excellent! You think about your mechanics that nail shots and you use the mechanics that do that ... that nail shots table length without a problem. You must have a particular thought about a particular mechanical aspect. Focus on doing that mechanical thing perfectly because that's what you do best and it's that which will take you to a good outcome every time you shoot.

For me it's a loose grip that does the trick. I remember to have that loose grip and 85% of the shot is done.

BE ENCOURAGED. When you miss you do not ask.. what am I doing wrong. You miss you move on.. leave it... move on and do right what you do right. You focus on what you do right and then you'll do it right and you move on and do it right again.

Some good words from Smoke there. He's right, once you have your cue in your hand & it's your shot, nobody can do anything about it! It's all yours! You & the table, mate! GO for it!
