Charlie Edwards had a nice Tucker for sale

It was a four point full splice wrapless Cue. I think he wanted $800.00.
Nick :)

Verwirre call Murray at 352-551-7171. I had a sneaky on order that was supposedly packed up and shipping the day before the super billiard expo that I sent him money for. Then I guess he decided to unpack it for some reason and must have observed a spot in the finish, I get an email saying he was going to refund my money until he could get it finished and that he usually didnt do business this way blah blah etc. Anyway, with only 2 hours of work supposedly on the close to finished cue and waiting over 2 more months I just cancelled the order. It was a sneaky cue with 2 shafts and the total was $700. You may give him a ring if this is something you would settle for without veneers and have better luck than I did. Good luck on your find man, Trav.

Murray is a great guy and makes one of the best cues out there! He won't ship till it is right and does more than make cues. You can't rush perfection....He is working on some stuff for me too and when it is finished I will get it. I have nothing bad to say about Murray he has informed me all along the way.

+1

Hit the nail on the head, Ron.

I understand totally, I was not rushing a thing, I have been waiting 2 years on a Howard now and 10 for a Southwest that is almost done also. I totally understand someone doing more than one business also. I am a super patient guy, just don't like to feel like I am being lied to just as the next person wouldn't. If he had the cue already packed up like HE said, then HE would have obviously observed the cue and wouldn't have packed it up if there was an imperfection with it would he? It never would have been packaged if that was the case. I am not trying to bash him, I hear he makes a good playing cue and that was why I ordered one in the first place. If he wouldn't have said he already packed it up and contradicted himself I would be ok with waiting 10 years on it. There are no hard feelings with me, I have some of the best playing cues I have ever played with and thankful to have them. I was the one that chose to cancel my order, just trying to help Vermirre find a Tucker cue and this one may be one for him,

yes thats why i want it buddy !!!

Some of his most sought after cues are his non-veneered full splices. You do know that he makes his own full splice blanks for these right? Only the older one or two was a pre-made blank used. You are totally selling these cues short.

Sorry it didn't work out for ya Bro...

He is a good and honest man. I know for a fact you have enjoyed playing with that cue. I thoroughly enjoy mine. Actually I will never sell it for any amount. I was waiting for Murray and another maker's cue that I expected to be my player. I started playing with the Tucker and can't put it down. In comparison to my other cue, it plays just as good. However, due to the inexpensive cost I take it everywhere without worries.

@ Lisa - mine was made from a Schmelke blank:

This is kind of funny. I have a problem and issue a prompt refund and I still get grief. How many threads do we read where a cue is shipped with issues and the maker won't stand behind it or it has to be shipped back to be fixed?

I may be many things but a liar is not one of them.

Murray's cues are hard to come by, and they play great. I have one, waited a long time to get it, and Murray was very easy to deal with. Communication was top notch.

Murray from my stand point you were a pleasure to deal with.
