I'm not quite sure what to think...

I know alot of different people in various aspects of life and they all seem to think I'm a nice enough guy.. I'm pretty well liked down at the pool halls I play at, and don't constantly harass people for action or anything.. Yet every single person I've hit balls with from this website no longer posts on here! At first I was thinking well maybe their busy, but...

Flashback about a year ago I met up with this guy "Jayden" we hooked up down at On Cue once or twice to practice a bit, and then once over at Family in O-side. He said he was getting a table and then he vanished like a fart in the wind. Never to post on here again..

About a month or two ago "Stolz" hit me up to shoot some, he's back in town from Alaska and getting his stuff all back together (buying a car etc..) So I run all the way down to S.D. pick him up and we go play some at On Cue, for a bit, Later on the following week we played some up at my house... Called him once or twice to see if he still wanted to buy my Frey, and if he wanted to go hit some balls and haven't seen or heard from him sense. I haven't seen him on here either?

Again a couple months ago San Diego Fan hit me up to shoot some.. We never could put something together until a few weeks ago, but one night he happened to be local to my place so he stopped by and we practiced a bit. I just happened to notice he hasn't posted on here sense either..

At first I was thinking maybe coincedence, but now 3 outta 3 I'm starting to wonder if I offended these people or something? These are all members that used to be on here daily, and almost immediately after playing just stopped posting all together?

I'm sure it's all just a coinkydinky...or else you beat them so badly they can't show their face anymore! :p

It wasn't that kind of situation in all 3 cases... More just shooting the breeze and playing some pool, not about crushing the other guy or anything.

Maybe you beat their asses pretty bad and they felt like phonies to be posting on here after that?

LOL... Believe me when I say that's not the case. Stolz plays heads up with me all day long. Point in fact when he gets back used to 9'ers he probably will play way better then me.

Jayden, plays about even with me.. Although (not to talk shit, just being honest) He thinks he's a strong A player.

And again in all 3 occasions it was primarily just practice, we weren't playing sets, or anything of the sort?

That bites. I thought this sorta thing only happens in S. Fla. I meet too many transitional people down here! :( BUt the ones i do get to know, I appreciate the most!

I don't think you should take it personally. It's kind of funny how pool relationships work out. I've had people that I played with several times, then just quit for no apparent reason. If you get up to 8 or 10 that treat you this way, then maybe you should seek counselling. As it is, I think it's just human nature and shouldn't be looked at as anything significant. You should try living up here in the NW. I've probably had 20 instances at least of people making arrangements to engage in some type of activity and then totally blowing me off with no courtesy phone call and no apology the next time I saw them even with what seem to be very definite commitments. Doesn't seem to matter what the activity is, just no respect from what you would normally consider to be friends. It's so bad that I half expect people not to show up now. However, I have learned to back off on spending a bunch of money and time to make the event more pleasurable/memorable. I think with pool, you just have to enjoy the comraderie when you can get it and not worry too much about the longevity of a particular relationship.

LOL... I don't take anything personally, and I wasn't trying to talk shit on anyone. More just joking around with something I thought was kinda strange, and hopefully getting some of these guys to start posting again etc.. ;) I was just thinking about it this morning... Every single person I've met from AZ doesn't post anymore, and for some reason that deodorant commercial came into my head where the guy raises his arms and it's like a ghost town..

Do I offend? :D

Do they still have the Tuesday nighter at the Leucadian. We've probably played and didn't know it. I don't get down much this time of year. How come Jim from Pacific Cue doesn't post anymore.

For awhile there was alot of drama going on in here and I think he just wasn't interested in it.. That and he's been really busy with business and family etc. He still looks through the For sale section I think?

I've played at the leucadian once or twice, but honestly I don't get down there much. If I go out I usually go over to Pacific Q. Honestly though I have a seriously tight table at my house that plays pretty good so I tend to stay home alot more lately.. LOL :D Let me know when/where you want to go hit some!

I heard that Steve did a Murray for you. I am going to have him do my friends. I'll give you a shout when I get down that way. I've sold a lot of cues in that area over the years.
