Automatic loss of match??? Seems extreme. Maybe there's some weird handicapping going on here...I'm merely guessing but a scratch on the break was an automatic loss?. Guessing Arfan won.
Another post on this said 3 'break penaltys' (WTF???????) is a loss. goofy game.Automatic loss of match??? Seems extreme. Maybe there's some weird handicapping going on here...
I only watched a very short part of the video. Didnt pay attention to what the match count was, so I assumed it was hill/hillAutomatic loss of match??? Seems extreme. Maybe there's some weird handicapping going on here...
After 3 break penalties, the fourth is loss of game. The fifth is loss of match.
If they're hoping to sell this game to a wider audience they're gonna have to change the format and some of the rules. Too slow, too weird.if the 4th occurs when the opponent is on the hill, it's loss of match too. happened to dennis in L16. anti-climactic, idiotic.
I don't know... I watched the last 15 minutes and it was painful... Looks like Dennis was trying to run the clock out.Why did the match end and who won?

Why? He's probably got more $$ than you and I combined. Prize funds should be awarded to those who actually WIN the $$ (or at least finish high in the tournament). Maybe he accomplished that from the L16 round, IDK?hope he still got some $$
I watched this 10 year old video. Looks like the rules have changed since then. LOLif the 4th occurs when the opponent is on the hill, it's loss of match too. happened to dennis in L16. anti-climactic, idiotic.

They were already strict rules in Gareth days. It does seem that those rules must not have been working. The demand to perfect the hard break isn't necessarily a bad idea imo.yes, it's slop now. and i think they had a period of soft breaking which forced stricter break rules?
