I've always wondered what exactly is going on in your avitar? Is that supposed to be you (or someone else) snorting something? It has always brought chills to me - sorry for my conservative impressions if they are misconceived.

That's easy-e all right. :lmao:

Easy, I just read 7 pages of posts mostly congratulating you. I guess to be on the safe side I should do the same. However, there are some posts that confuse me, but I'll not go into them except to say I think you should have simply bested your "stalker" in pool and put an end to his challenge, particularly since you both were in the same place at the same time - that's no time for lame excuses, IMHO - GET-R-DONE!!!!!!!!!!. But, to the point of my post: I've always wondered what exactly is going on in your avitar? Is that supposed to be you (or someone else) snorting something? It has always brought chills to me - sorry for my conservative impressions if they are misconceived.

That is Ali-G, my hero! The reason I didn't (and won't) play him is that I don't like him. He hustled a known friend of mine out of $50, and anyone willing to screw a friend's friend out of money isn't a great guy IMO. I am not a professional gambler. I make a very comfortable living outside of pool and I only gamble at pool if I am going to have a good time doing it, win or lose. I believe that if I did play him that night, when I won I would have heard even more ****-talking than I am now. I am in a good place now, and the thought of winning Jeremy's money isn't high on my list.

Dolan Barracks base champion, Schwaebisch Hall. US Military Germany 14.1 4th place. That was my best and only times I have played in military comps.

There used to be some REAL players in Europe when I was there though.

I would love to play someone who talks :) shit. It would be a nice change of pace from the quite ultra polite Japanese players I always play.I was U.S.F.K. champion in 2000.I won harder tournaments but its still a fond memory.

I won this in 1997. I drilled a smack talking LTC Dentist - put him in the losers, beat him in the finals. It was fun. But the funniest part is that I ran into him years later in Texas and of all the coincidences, he had previously talked smack (lied) that he had won the tournament - to of all people, my best friend who he didn't know knew me. What are the odds?

No mad faces on Monday morning.

Stick8,
I think Joey wasn't questioning you on whether you won the tournament or not, I just think he really wanted to see pictures of your trophies from 38 years ago because it would be cool to see. I think a lot of people here (including me) would like to see them.

There's a really good thread going on in the main forum right now called "adding pics to threads", and it shows how easy it is to upload pictures here.

I personally like to look at pictures the most because my reading comprehension ain't that good.

Do you know Elmer Posadas? He's at Yakota, but currently deployed! He's heading to Osan this coming Winter/Spring sometime. He's a pretty good shot! He's about 5'-9", stocky, Phillipino, and a TSgt in the AF.

Craig,
You're actually thinking of the "pro" player Mike Zimmerman from Tacoma area. We're not the same guy, I'm only 32 and have never lived in Tacoma.

Any more Military Pool Stories! Sad way to revive this thread, but glad it's back!
