Chris my friend, you're defending the indefensible to ad nausium. Enough please. If you can explain to me in person how asking to change (or contest) a basic rule of the game of pool advances the game or promoted an interesting discussion, I'd be happy to listen. From my reading of this thread, it is you against the rest of the forum. Not good odds. Very few, if any posters, accepted your version. Some of the people posting negative comments are among the most respected on this forum. Think you are "pissing into the wind and expecting not to get wet!".

During the 3rd inning, with the score tied 27-27, you shoot at the smaller ball, which bounces off the biggest ball, off the table, off your opponentast's wifes left breast, back onto the table, and makes the 6 rail carom.

Would you keep shooting? Maybe mark the point but surrender the inning? Measure the breast with a ruler to determine if it is phenolic? ...

Of course it depends. Are you on a waffle from your previous cannon? Have you completed any triple? Was she wearing a bra? You really need to be specific or no proper ruling can be made.
