In One Pocket, what do you call it when....

.... You play the cue ball safe, deep in the corner near your opponents goal pocket, without a feasible bank or kick shot?

My brother and I have started calling that zone "the armpit."

As in, "Man, you really put me in the armpit that time."

Just curious if anyone has any other slang they use or created for One Pocket.

I would call that temporally survival.
