Not too long ago, Andam finished 5th at the WPC. I think that was the year Mika won it - if so, it was 2001. He's another strong Filipino player.

I remember that WPC. they said there was some controversy in his 5th finish. did Andam really touched and fouled a ball there? many people, including Andam himself think that he didn't.

Not really sure this can get the respect of a "World Championship" when some of the very top players in the world are not invited because they are from Taiwan.
 
Hi, Korean Dragon. May we get details on the following:

1. What's the prize money for this world 10-ball event?

2. Do invited players pay entry fee? If so, how much?

3. Are national, continental, and world pool federations involved in this world championship? If yes, why is it invitational?

Dragon website does not contain any of this information.

just keep your fingers crossed and hope that they'll get invited and also hope that they won't stood up the event if ever. ;)
 
Player from taiwan were invited. they are not able to attend.

The event will still have a diverse international field and large contingent from asia.

The World 8Ball Championship did not have one single player from USA. I still believe they had a successful event.
we plan on having the same .

Obviously my statement implies an IMO. The words "small and brown" were definitely not necessary and you should know that by now. When we "write" and "speak" we need to be "conscious" of the words used; therefore, no need to defend what you said, all you had to do was correct your statement.

Efren will not be able to attend now nor will he be in Vegas for the BCA Open.

In his stead, Bustamente, Andam, Kiamco, Orcullo and a strong contingent of filipino talent will be there at the World 10-Ball
 
Any info on the prize money for this event? Although the top Taiwanese players won't be there the field is still mighty impressive.
