Airport Billiards, out by the Airport. It's on West Washington. Thats where the best players tend to go.jukeboxjon said:have two weeks work in indianapolis prior to the nvea state tourny and would like to know if any can recommend any rooms in indy want to keep my eye and stroke intact while there thanks in advance
Is that really the best that Indy has to offer? I stop there every time I fly into or out of Indy and I have not been impressed. It's true that you can find a game there, at least sometimes, but the place is filthy, the billiard tables are painfully slow and short, and the houseman and regulars are likely to be smoking in front of the no smoking sign. Airport billiards looks to me like a place that was strong and hot 15 or 20 years ago.satman said:Airport Billiards, out by the Airport. It's on West Washington. When I went there the place smelled like piss. And looked like a bomb went off inside.JamisonNeu said:I went through a few years ago and ended up at a great place called Executive Billiards. They had a 5' x 10' table and people loved the bank pool. I found some pretty tough games with some very respectful people.

Not a very nice thing to say about your home town. But I gotta agree with you. You'd think a place as big as Indy, would have at least 1 upscale place. But now that Chalkies is gone, and the old Billiard Cafe is gone, if you want clean, with a nice atmosphere, you gotta play barboxes. And then the tables usually suck due to all the bangers abusing them, and the owners caring more about the food and drink business than the tables.miah g. said:mad dog 20/20, boones farm, or wild irish rose? paired up with some ramen. delicious!
anyhow, poolhalls around here suck. you'd be better off watchin a couple of tar or accustat videos.
what about some buffalo wild wings and 10 or 12 Bud lights .....?miah g. said:mad dog 20/20, boones farm, or wild irish rose? paired up with some ramen. delicious!
